Once your shed is complete, our delivery team will contact you to schedule a suitable time for delivery.
Communication is the key to scheduling. Due to the high volume of spam phone calls, many customers find it convenient to text instead. All of our office and delivery personnel use phones with the 864 area code from upstate South Carolina. Please provide current phone numbers and email addresses at the time of purchase to facilitate clear and speedy communication.

PRIOR TO DELIVERY
Please prepare the area where the shed will be located. This may involve clearing the ground of debris, removing fences, or cutting branches that may interfere with the installation.
Our team will call to schedule an estimated day and time for your shed delivery and installation.
Installation Area
Make sure you have adequate width and height clearance.
Trim any intrusive tree branches prior to shed delivery.
Access
Your gate needs to be 2' wider than the building you purchase. If it is not that wide we do have some tips and shortcuts that can still make it work. Talk to your sales rep for help!
Neighbors
Be sure to give your neighbors a heads-up about your delivery, especially if it is near the property line.
DAY OF DELIVERY
Weather does affect our deliveries. If it is raining and wet it generally works best to wait to deliver until your yard dries out. No one likes a mud mess in their backyard!
Typically, you can expect a call from your delivery person confirming an estimated delivery time about 45 minutes to an hour prior to delivery.
The team will install your shed in the area you have selected. Concrete blocks are included at no charge to make sure your building is completely level and off the ground. Please note that “raising” a building is not included and will incur additional charges.
The Westwood team will not leave until you are completely satisfied.
AFTER DELIVERY
Sit back, relax and enjoy your new Westwood purchase. Pull up a chair, pour a glass of lemonade and behold the beauty of your backyard. Now it is time to get started filling up that shed. After all, that is why you bought it, right? When things settle down, we would love to hear from you in a review on Facebook or Google. And, while you are at it, share a photo or two. We would love to see the finished project.
COMMON QUESTIONS
How soon can you deliver?
Delivery of a stock shed is typically delivered within 5 business days. Delivery of a custom order shed is typically within 2-3 weeks. Our delivery times do vary based on our backlog of shed orders and on weather. Ask your sales rep for a current, accurate time frame when you place your shed order.
How is the building delivered?
Westwood Sheds has the most modern equipment the shed industry offers. Your shed will be delivered on a truck and trailer. We will place it on your property as carefully as possible. Each of our delivery rigs are equipped with the famous shed Mule to assist with tight places and facilitate minimal property disturbance.
Do you supply the blocks to level the building?
At Westwood Sheds free delivery really does mean free delivery. We bring your shed out AND we set up for you at no additional cost. The includes all the blocks necessary to lift up off the ground and support it properly. Westwood Sheds will include leveling for up a 2' variance from the high end to the low end. If there is additional variance OR if you would like your shed blocked higher than is required to level it Westwood Sheds offers those services for an additional fee.
How big of an opening do you need to get the building into the location?
There are a lot of variables in this question. In general Westwood Sheds needs access that is 2' wider and 5' higher than the shed you are purchasing. Talk to your sales rep if you are concerned about accessibility. You may need to choose our build-on site option.
